Planter with stair - Detachable version

My brother is a succulent enthusiast.
As far as I know, he’s currently growing over 50 pots of succulents—in a room that looks more like a forest.
He really liked the original model,
but he didn’t enjoy having to be extra careful every time he poured out water from the drainage tray.
So, I modified the design into a version with a detachable water tray for him.

As you can see in the image below,
I’ve separated the original model into two parts—top and bottom—with a fitted locking mechanism.
I also redesigned the drainage holes for better functionality.

If you look closely at the real-life photos,
you’ll notice step-like lines on the base and some flat surfaces.
That’s because my brother—also a theory-driven perfectionist with a fear of root rot—believed the original design might trap water under the pot, preventing it from draining properly.

So the printed model shown is actually a sloped version.
I added a tilt to the base and relocated the drainage holes to corners where water might collect.
These slopes caused the visible step lines, but my brother doesn't mind—he even thinks they add character.

If you’re like him and more worried about root rot than surface texture,
you’ll find the sloped version in the print files.
