I like the design that @ESoderberg came up with, however I wanted to use these hinges with wood screws. Accordingly , I desired holes that worked well with countersunk screws instead of cap/button head screw styles. Such screws are common in self tapping woodworking screws, and they don't work as nicely with just flat screw holes.

Additionally this modification helps distribute the clamping force more evenly so that you're less likely to split the part by over torquing the screw somehow. While I was at it, I also fixed a weird 5° slope in the original model that made it print a little odd in stair-steps. It's not clear to me why that was in the original model, but

 

Hope this is useful for some people. Shown in Overture PLA Pro @0.16 layer height. Note that you might need a brim or glue or first layer “mouse ear tabs” to make sure these stay put for the whole print and don't pop off the bed too early :). Make sure you also print this in the proper orientation with the angled “roof” of the gears pointing up, away from the bed, as shown here:
