I really like the Dummy 13 models by soozafone (who unfortunately left Bambu Lab community). I also really like the rugged storage boxes and the costumes for the dummies by Real Cloud Architech. This model can be used as hinges for the rugged boxes.
I first tried to print some 3M screws, but those did not work as I had imagined. Then I thought about creating simple push-fit hinges without threads, which turned out pretty good IMHO. Feel free to make them better, since the originals are also included.
This model includes two options for the “bolt,” one printed vertically and another as a split horizontal print. The latter is easier to print since they are quite long and narrow for vertical printing.
I've printed a few of these now in PLA, and they should work without glue. I think PLA is strong enough for this use case.
