Segmented Knitting Loom (A1 Mini friendly!)

Knitting looms can be fun, but traditional looms are one size fits ... well, one 😄  Not 100% true, of course, yarn tends to have some stretch, but most traditional looms are for a specific size.

Meet the segmented knitting loom.  Think knitting loom + ‘L-brand’ children's building bricks (or pop-beads, if you had those as a child).  Want a larger/smaller hat?  No problem!  Just remove or add links.  Want to make a King-size blanket?  Get printing, you're going to need a whole lot of pieces!

I didn't invent this (or the traditional loom) - I'm not even the first to post a design like this to Makerworld, but I did create this one from scratch in TinkerCAD based on looking at a few existing designs & I believe I have improved on what's out there, at least a little.

1. I designed with the A1 Mini in mind, but I made sure I didn't make any design decisions that would affect those with a larger printer (or a smaller printer, though I am curious what you're using that's smaller).  As of typing this, this may be the only one on Makerworld that can be printed with an A1 Mini.
2. You can use any filament you like, but I designed it to use PETG.  These links should be about as strong as they can get without getting too chunky or using 100% infill (due to thicker than typical walls, I only used 10% infill).   I don't recommend a CFF or GF PETG, as this will be harder on the yarn.
3. My print was nice & snug, without being tight & the base of the pegs flares a little, strengthening one of the weakest points on the piece.
4. The license is wide-open; short of claiming the files as your own, so whatever you like with them.    You can even feel free to modify my originals in TinkerCAD, if you like.

Feel free to post print profiles for other printers; mine should work on any printer, but larger print beds can print more pieces in a single go.
