Sliced cube with screw as joint

Years ago, I was asked in a job interview how many edges the surface has when you hold a cube by its corners between two fingers and then cut it precisely between those corners an look from above at the new surface. It's amazing what answers you get when you pose this question yourself. Without visual aids, it's hard to imagine the resulting surface. That's why I developed this small project.
