My children had lost screws for their vehicle construction sets. I couldn't find a place that would sell spares, and these are far from any “standard”, so I generated this myself. They work perfectly well, but this is my first 3D model I've made, so I apologise in advance if the model hasn't been designed like a professional would.
The screw worked as well as the originals which is all I needed. I've set this to print sideways on the plate as the outcome was better and it would be more robust with the slices made in that direction that is perpendicular from the turning force of the screw. This does mean it will need some support, but outcome speaks for itself.
Happy to learn if there are better ways I could have done this.
I'm sharing this as I'm sure others have also lost screws to these same toy kits. This replaces 18mm length, 10mm diameter screws as illustrated in the photos.
