A wonderful vertical chessboard!

The project isn't mine, but I found it on Thingiverse, pls take a look here the original creator link.

A couple of comments:

• Printing it at 100% size is really long, but in the end, it's very satisfying.
• The pieces need supports to be printed; I recommend doing everything in PLA (both the piece and the support), but using PETG as an interface between the support and the piece (or vice versa).
• I tried many way to print the baseplates, at the end the way I preferred was the last one in vertical, but I leave to you also the other options
  • Simple as it is from the STL
  • Simple, but with adding the “mouse ears” to avoid the warping
  • In vertical

Alcune note tecniche:

• Come dimensione al 100% è davvero molto lungo da stampare, ma alla fine dà una grande soddisfazione
• I pezzi hanno bisogno di supporti per essere stampati, consiglio di fare tutto in PLA (pezzo e supporto), ma usare come interfaccia tra supporto e pezzo il PETG (oppure viceversa)
