Veteran sherman max bearing cover

Original bearing went bad after one winter due to water ingress on bearing. After replacing bearings, I added bearing cover to prevent that happening again.

Take this model with grain of salt as I modeled this in hurry without calibers. They're now installed but it will probably take a year to see how well they hold up.

Working principle is really simple: marine grease or other really sticky grease keeps water out and cover holds the grease while keeping dust away.

Installation:

1. Put sticky grease in the groove.
2. Glue both pieces with glue that seals as well. I used rvt silicone that isn't corrosive.
3. Wait until it dries and test how it works by spinning the axle. It should not add any noticeable resistance, or make any additional noises.

Additionally you can use a little amount of super glue or quick epoxy to keep it in place when assembling while sealing glue dries up.
