Use case:

Reliable filament splitter allowing easy swap between AMS / external spool filament feed into Bambulab X1C, P1P, P1S.

Requires:

  • PC4-M10 Pneumatic Air Straight Quick Fitting 4 mm Thread M10 - Amazon.de, Allegro.pl qty 3
  • M3x20 screw

Improvements made from the original project:

  • funnels leading the loaded filament into the splitter
  • rod leading the filament into the directly into the outbound PC4-M10 fitting

With this design I never experienced any retraction nor feeding issues.

Installation

The original M3x3 screw needs to be removed (top right corner) and replaced with M3x20. PC4-M10 should be attached and 4mm PTFE tube going out from the printer should be installed prior to the splitter being screwed to the printer.
